Refund Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
SteamTicket offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on one-time course and bundle purchases. If you are not satisfied, email support@steamticket.ca within 30 calendar days after the original purchase date and ask for a refund.
This guarantee is offered in addition to any refund, cancellation, chargeback, or other rights you may have under Paddle's buyer terms, Paddle's refund policy, or the consumer-protection laws of your province or territory.
2. Paddle's Role
Paddle is the merchant of record and authorised reseller for purchases made through Paddle checkout. Paddle charges your payment method, may appear on your statement or receipt, calculates and handles applicable transaction taxes where required, and processes approved refunds back to the original payment method where possible.
Paddle's buyer terms and refund policy also apply to your transaction. Paddle's current public refund policy describes a Canadian consumer right to request a refund for digital content or services within seven days after delivery. SteamTicket's 30-day guarantee is more generous than that seven-day period, but Paddle's own policy and mandatory legal rights still apply independently.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email support@steamticket.ca from the email address used for your SteamTicket account or purchase. Include your name, purchase email, product purchased, and Paddle order or transaction number if you have it. You may also be able to request help through the Paddle receipt, buyer portal, or Paddle support channel shown on your receipt.
4. Processing Time
We aim to review SteamTicket guarantee requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle. After Paddle approves or issues a refund, the time for funds to appear depends on Paddle, your payment method, your card issuer, and your bank. It commonly takes several business days. Paddle's own refund policy may state a different processing period for Paddle-controlled refunds.
5. Eligibility and Access After Refund
The 30-day guarantee applies to individual course purchases and bundle purchases unless the purchase page clearly states otherwise. When a refund is issued, your access to the refunded course or bundle may be revoked.
We may deny or limit use of the voluntary 30-day guarantee where we reasonably believe there is refund abuse, fraud, account sharing, payment abuse, repeated buy/refund cycling, scraping, bulk copying, or other misuse. This abuse limit applies only to SteamTicket's voluntary guarantee. It does not limit any mandatory rights you have under law or under Paddle's buyer terms or refund policy.
6. Statutory Cancellation and Chargeback Rights
Consumer-protection laws in your province or territory may give you additional rights, especially if required pre-purchase information was not provided, a copy of the contract or receipt was not delivered when required, access was not delivered within the required time, or a mandatory legal right applies. These rights cannot be waived by this Refund Policy.
If you believe a statutory cancellation, refund, or chargeback right applies, contact support@steamticket.ca and include the details. You may also contact Paddle using the information on your receipt because Paddle is the merchant of record for the payment transaction.
